A small quick painting, few days work.
This image is sourced and a reflection of Hilbre Island, which is on the Wirral Peninsular. To get to the Island you have to wait until low tide and then there's a 2 mile hike over changing terrain, wet sand, grass and rocks. There is an approved safe route to the island which isn't as direct, but if your brave enough you can cut across there's a more direct route but it's not advisable as there's quick sand or deeper flowing water to contend with. You have 5 hours to make the walk out to the island and take in the scenery before heading back, otherwise the tide will come back in and you will be stranded for 5 hours until the tide goes back out again. There's some great scenery to be viewed on this little island and I recommend the walk.
